This is most definitely false. The number of spores does not not determine growth rate of mycelium, at all. This does not increase risk of contamination, it honestly helps reduce it. When using MS, you are allowing random spores to germinate, the more spores you throw in the mix, the more chance for randoms. One or two drops is not impossible for a newbie. Its really quite easy, if you can push a drop out to cool the red hot needle, you can only use a drop or two to inoculate. Please do not use 2 cc per jar.

Yet another example of elitist Shroomery nonsense, m'lord.

Nobody has ever proven that there's any increase/reduction in potency before during or after the veil breaks.

Spores are kind of a drag but they disappear in less than a second when you rinse your fruits with water.  If you want to print, harvest before the veil breaks.  If not, just let them grow.

Reap as you will and I suspect you won't notice any 0.0001% variance in potency, my friend

Also, if you found your way here because you were curious why he has such a bad rating, the BIGGEST takeaway is that he gives terrible advice.  Now's your chance to run. 
A quick look at his ratings reveals that he ignores every person who ever corrects him. It's no wonder his advice is so bad.  He will literally never learn at this rate.
