I am terrible about giving out ratings but I wanted to take a minute to show you some support. I admire your toughness, directness and moral compass. This place would be the lesser without you. Even on the rare occasions when I disagree with you, I always respect you. Keep fighting the good fight and keeping Shroomery what it is. It is not always pretty, but it is pretty free and fair in a large part because of you.

I don't have to pleasure of knowing you on a personal leve(plenty if time left)
but I respect the hell out of you! Your friendly and level headed. From what i can tell. you have a good moral compass that defintly shows thru with how you treat everybody
We would seriously be missing out if we didn't have you in our community.

I should have done this from day one, but in a way the lack of rate is a compliment: who tf needs to give pasty a 5? The name carries weight. A rating from a relative noob feels a little fuckin silly tbh.
Regardless, you're rock solid, and I really mean that.
Thanks for RW, EZ dial, the many years of teks, and for holding the line, holding your own, holding it down, doing a tedious and frequently thankless job that involves catching hell from all sides for trying to keep the peace in an environment where there's no obvious right answer in the first place. It seems stressful as fuck.
I respect the shit out of you. It's clear that you really love and value this place and the people in it. We're lucky to have you.

Since I registered for an account and then began posting, I've really enjoyed interacting with Pastywhyte in the forums.
But you know, once upon a time, I was just lurking here and sponging up all the information and technique I could. Pastywhyte's teks and write-up and explanations were instrumental in getting me up to speed and into agar work. At one point, I was incorporating so much of his work that I'd have dreams where Tony Montana was talking to me about mushrooms.

I have learnt a lot from you Pasty and I can't say enough good things about the EZ dial, it just works great for every different conditions I have through the year.
After you come back you have given a lot of great advice and help around here and I'm still learning a lot, always with a great attitude and kindness all around. It's been a blast having you back and a easy 🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄 for you

I've been meaning to give you a rating for some time, I remember your mini mono's and Micro pore tape change up in the polyfil era, which I still see people use poly here and there. I started with Franks WBS and monos, and Faht I've been watching his work well before I knew him, but you SIR, have contributed so much back to the OMC... and continue to do so.
