So I had this car since high school. It's a 95 firebird formula that I put lots of hard work and money into. It had a fully built 383 stroker motor in it, but had tons of stuff wrong with it and haven't driven it much for the past 4 years. It was hard to let go because of the memories I had with it, but I needed the money.
So I got it all shined up and in decent working order. It leaked some oil onto the headers which caused a lot of smoke,  but yesterday I did a little work and thought I fixed it. So I sold it to the guy for 3250 and it drives fine when I show it to him.
On the way home he calls me like 3 times and is like dude, what's up with the radio it doesn't work, what's up with these rattle noises, etc. Then he gets home and it's spewing oil out of the dipstick tube and CATCHES FIRE! lol  just a small fire and he put it out. But basically the rings are shot and there's very little compression so the motor is toast, he finally figures out.
He calls me up and is all like I'm so screwed I need a car to get to work, this was all the money I had. Blah blah blah. Well I'm not a dick and I feel really bad but am not about to take it back so I offer to give him 350 back. It's not much but honestly I didn't have to give him anything so whatever. Not my problem anymore. Just thought I'd share. I thought it was pretty funny but also feel bad.
