It's a matter of brain chemistry and personality, just as no two people will have the same trip, the overall effect for each person can be quite different. Some just get stupid and laugh a lot, others experience deep spiritual realizations. Also, I find that if taken amongst a group of friends the atmosphere is MUCH different than when alone. When alone your senses will more often than not turn inward, these are the moments when we stare into the proverbial mirror and because of the loss of ego, are unable to deny the truths seen there.
