sunlight is the key, and water when the soil dries out
I'm with Haymaker...no heating pad necessary at all unless it gets down to freezing temperatures in your house...
Heating pads will waste electricity. Just give it some decent sunlight and water once a month during the winter. Every two weeks in the summer. Make sure those roots are dry before you water though.
and make sure you stay with the shroomer dude, truly an awesome forum.
