Q:
On the main index BB page where all the forums are shown, red number in
parentheses showing new threads doesn't show up anymore.
Yet it shows up when you enter a forum? Is this a bug?

A:
No, this has been changed on purpose, it makes the board much faster this way since there are far less database querries needed to generate the page.

You can see if there are new posts in any forum by the color of the mushroom in front of the forum name.
(brown - new posts since last visit, grey - no new posts.)

When I first heard it was permanent, I was disappointed, but after only a few hours, I'm guess I'm used to it. Even dialup users have rights, I guess... if we all want to be friggin commies or something.
