What do you really expect when you put a bunch of introverted people around each other?

Did you go to a small awkward gathering or something? No one talks? As introverted as i can be i am still able to hold conversations and all the bullshit that comes along with most 'outgoing' social settings.

I can imagine how awkward it can be if you have a bunch of silent people sitting around together who are all introverted and most likely are anxious around new people. Did you try to break the ice at all?

I post here to see other peoples perspective on aspects of life and to chat with people who i assume have a decent head on their shoulders and go deeper into things because of eating mushrooms. I'm sure a lot of people here didn't have easy care free lives growing up. I can tell most of those people are introverted. Sometimes people can transition easy with talking online or the phone and then move to seeing the person in person without a problem. But it can be weird if everyone is meeting for the first time.


It can be pointless to you. Sometimes it is to me as well. But its easier to find others similar to yourself which is what i'm sure a lot of people actually look for when they join a forum.
