Shroomery is becoming boring/lame.

I know it happens and has happened and is happening but how do you guys deal with the repetitiveness of everything and the people? Should i just GTFO or is there really a purpose to stick around longer than a few months at a time?

Why don't you contribute something then instead of complaining that we're not entertaining enough? 

Ask not what the Shroomery can do for you, ask what you can do for the Shroomery.

For the most part, the Shroomery's always been the same. You're the one who's changing. Maybe it's time you've grown out of this. :shrug:

Possibly i am growing out of it. It's nothing about contribution #2. It's like the same broken record that goes around and around and around and most of the time it skips over itself but its the same old record playing never changing. I find this often on any message board i go to. I find it often in real life. Where the fuck is my escape?!

Yeah life is repetitive and boring. Theres something thats different every time you go to it though.

This place admittedly has its slow days, but I don't think I'll ever leave.  I'm going to be the next Pris or niteowl or TM (minus the creepiness).

I've thought about leaving The Shroomery a few times but I always come back. Psychedelics are what I love and what I love to talk about. Even though the repetitive posters on this site are mostly ignorant, there are still a lot of educated people like myself. My knowledge of drugs and psychedelics is pretty vast so I kind of see it as my duty to help people and dedicate my time to this site to improve upon it's overall success. Besides, new people are joining The Shroomery everyday. If more people like me make a habit of spending time posting on The Shroomery, this will be less of a haven for ignorant druggies and more of a community of intelligent psychedelic enthusiasts, which is what it should be. The large number of idiots on this site attract more idiots and deter the intelligent ones. I'm trying to change that just by remaining an active poster. I encourage other people to do the same.

Sometimes there is either a lull in the Shroomery or just a lull in my interests and I will take a break for a few months.

I always end up coming back and enjoying it again.

The Shroomery is only lame when a bunch of lame 35 year olds who never matured after high school plague the shit out of it. Other than that, this forum is pure gold. :sunny:
