DARE programs taught to 10th graders. All of a sudden 9th graders do drugs. So DARE programs taught to 9th graders. All of a sudden 8th graders do drugs......DARE programs taught to 4th graders....

It's the philosophy of "we have to get to them before the dealers do!" which is about as effective as the "i dont want to appear soft on crime so i will increase sentences for drug users" philosophy. This results in drug education programs being taught to kids who wouldn't even know how to use lighters.

I never heard about drugs before D.A.R.E in fifth grade. My friends, and I just made up different meanings for it. Like drugs are really exciting. :rofl2:

i have a t shirt that says "punk" (in dare letters) and says "keeping kids on the streets"

got annoying when total asshats misinterpreted it as somehow punk keeps people poor and on the streets, rather than what it means of "taking to the streets"

also hits my pet peeve of saying something about someones clothes that isnt nice (if i really like a certain item of clothing i compliment it, if not, i dont say anything if i think it blows)
