Got a friends engagement party next week, what drug to take?

I know this may sound retarded but lately I have been tripping a bit and don't think I can handle social events too well for the next few days. I think this engagement party might be a good opportunity to meet some girls in my area and I also may see a lot of people I know from schools and stuff.  I am thinking ether xanax the night before (because I am gonna have to drive to this) or taking a low dose opiate for the party. Have  a feeling opiate may be the best option, also makes me really smart when I socialize. What do you all think?

Xanax the night before? Xanny only lasts a few hours for me, but a low dose of opiates sound best for the situation. Take a few vicodin and you'll be set for a good night.
