Nobody makes you an asshole but yourself.  You can make money nicely and vice versa.

I've encountered plenty.  I don't make a lot, but I pull in a 6-figure salary working with highly educated, exceptionally nice people.

Its all relative.

When all your friends are in high school, smoking pot in their mom's basement and "rebelling against the man by doing nothing" 100k is a big chunk of change.

When you get to your early 30's and enjoy the company of high achievers, you'll have a friends going into specialized medical fields starting at double that.

This is all besides the point.  Plenty of nice people make money.

That makes sense to me. Because nice people are really good at making contacts and motivating people without threatening them or making them feel like shit. I also think a nice person is more likely to be creative since assholes are more bent on destruction.

But i also agree with the OP. There are alot of rich assholes in the world because assholes are more likely to be greedy fucks. Where as nice people have different values.

In my experience assholes are more likely to be failures. They seem to think the world owes them something and are filled with self pity. They don't want to work hard because they hate people and think they are better than them.

Unfortunately some of them do succeed, but they are in the minority.

If you're going to be an asshole be straight forward, not fucking manipulative.

Sometimes people like being told straight up whats bad, but being manipulative is only going to hurt you once you're undermined.
