How does smoking powdered heroin compare to snorting it?

Save me the heroin is bad bullshit.  I'm not a habitual user, I only partake about once a month.  That being said, I've always just plain snorted it, but I'm interested in trying a little puffs off some tin foil.  Would I be wasting my time?

I knew a guy who used to sell it, and he preferred snorting it.

That being said, I've never tried smoking it.  Be careful, look up heroin leukoencephalopathy (sp?).  I can't remember whether its only been documented with tar or powder, but its some fucked up shit.  Super rare, but scary enough to convince me never to smoke it.

Yeah I'd rather just rail it anyway.  It really reminds me of yeast. :lol:  The texture, the smell, taste...    I prefer OC's over H though..  They last longer and don't taste/feel as dirty.

Naw fuck that.  The only time I could put H in my vein is if I came home from the hospital with one of those tube things still connected to my arm.  I'm perfectly content putting it up my nose.
