Anyone feel awkward around awkward people?

Curious what everyone thinks. I have had friends in the past that I felt awkward around, but if I liked them I would try to ignore it. But I think awkwardness tends to go both ways. I am really high hope this makes sense. do you agree?

Yeah, it rubs off...

I try and break them out of their arwkwardness so that I don't feel it too.  Doesn't always work though.

Perhaps people are akward around you because you yourself are akward. You hate in others what you hate about yourself. Confront your own akwardness first and then you will accept the akwardness of others and help them to overcome it.

Of course I feel awkward around awkward people. They emit copious amounts of negative vibes. I definitely try to avoid them when I'm tripping.  :robotrip:

I gotta ask because I always try to figure this out when high. what's more awkward to be quiet and chill or laugh at everything and act happy?  I always try to figure this out

you should just be yourself and not try to "do" anything specific.

This philosophy has served me well in all facets of life, including drug induced states.

I think most people would say that being quiet and chill is more awkward than being really laughy and excessively happy. I don't think I agree with this though. I think they are both equally awkward if taken to the extreme. Like if someone is so quiet and chill that they only say a couple words every hour or someone who is way too enthusiastic about boring stuff and is acting like they're on ecstasy or something. The latter is a more fake way of portraying yourself and being quiet and chill is more realistic. The most normal way to act is somewhere in between the two extremes.

i tend to get a little awkward when hanging out with just 1 other person. unless it's someone i really know, then our conversations tend to be pretty narrow.


3 people is key. there's always something to talk about, and the awkward moments don't feel as awkward because you can always share them with another person. idk if that made sense really, but you guys probably know what i mean.

same here. I find hanging out with one or two people is way more enjoyable than big groups. too many different minded people in groups can lead to bad times
