lol i have a couple techn9ne albums, im a fan of only a few tracks but other than that he isnt a big deal to me. Fast rhymes arent the only thing that makes you an ill lyricist.

tech n9ne has some badass beats and hes an amazing lyricst. absolute power was like the "pop" album that everyone knows and listens to. not saying its bad, but hes got a LOT more stuff thats even more badass.

"vintage tech" is a badass album.

Tech's old stuff was okay, but his newer stuff kind of sucks.

I'm from Kansas City so we hear about Tech N9ne a lot. Here's my take. He was cool when he was original and underground (not that going mainstream automatically makes one's music suck, nor that Tech is mainstream for that matter) his stuff was ill. Was it the best? No but it was pretty damn good. Then he started getting more popular and going on tour and spending a lot of time out in the bay area and shit and honestly he's changed.

I always think of Tech N9ne as like a black So-Cal surfer dude/Bro who thinks that he is the coolest mother fucker around. Except that he ain't.

Honestly the only reason I really ever listen to him is because he is the most popular rapper from Kansas City, and ya gotta play with the hands that you're dealt. Come on KC we need better rappers!!!
