Honeybell oranges
    #9602888 -

This month is the brief time in the year when the best oranges in the world are in season.  Honeybell oranges are so orange and so juicy and so messy and so fucking good.  My dad had a box of them shipped to me from Florida.  I'm loving it.

Has anyone else had these?

It's a nice treat.  Eat that sweet treat.

dr_gonz, I've never heard of blood oranges.  But I feel sorry for the people who are forced to pick them by ruthless militants.  Or are they oranges that come from an orchard where the owners were killed and then got taken over by occupiers?

Eww, that looks gross.  No, Honeybells are very sweet, very juicy and very orange.  Not reddish at all.

I'm intrigued by these honeybell oranges of which you speak.  Also, blood oranges are amazing and 100% blood free.

Yeah, I got mine from Cushmans too, LDS.  I like how they send you a bib in the box because of how messy they are.
