It was actually really easy for me to quit. I was bascially forced to go a day with a cigarette and then decided that I might as well quit and that was it. Was never agitated, didn't lose any sleep, no withdrawal or anything. I'll occasionally take a few drags If I'm drunk or something but that's as far as it goes.

Quitting was easy for me too, though I never got too heavily into smoking. I started off smoking socially, my friend would ask me if i wanted a cigarette and I said sure. I usually smoked a cigarette after smoking a joint. Then one time when I was drunk I bought a pack. I bought a pack probably a month later. Then when I was in the mental hospital I probably smoked about 3-4 packs in 3 months. When I got out, I'd go through about a pack and a week. I decided to quit when I was smoking about two packs a week. It took only one relapse and then I quit for good.

I just started smoking pot again after a month break yesterday.

I've tried buying non-filters; I've tried just ripping the filters off.

I'd much rather just toss it in one of my pipes (tobacco pipes).  No filter just doesn't feel right.

i hate filters, makes it seem like you're not even smoking anything. i was smoking non-filtered luckies but those get expensive, so i just roll my own, can't even stand the taste of reds or luckies now, even though i used to love that shit. oh well.

I smoke american spirits, cause at least if I'm going to smoke.. I know I'm only smoking JUST tobacco.. and not the 900 other chemicals they add to most cigarettes. (20+ of which are carcinogenic)

I've quit before for months at a time, and it's relatively easy. But I enjoy smoking, and I like nicotine.

The biggest downfall is the cost.

im only 14 and i havnt smoked for to long.. but im stopping now and it feels good, but your lungs feel like shit and you feel a craving for them every day, i think soon i will regain my lung capacity and i will stop cigarettes

I smoke about 1/2 -1 pack of Camel 99 Filters a day. Ive quit before and have never had a problem with it.

I had a brief flirtation with cigarettes starting last year sometime before Christmas, and I didn't properly quit until this November or December. It started by having half a cigarette with friends on the smoking porch after smoking a joint, then always having one after smoking a joint, then smoking when I was bored and in the morning and all day and after a joint. Now I don't need them, although sometimes I still have one or two when I'm drunk or high with my cigarette smoking friends. What was that about quitting?

Cig addiction is so easy to quit.. I smoked almost two packs a day back in my highschool days and I quit, it wasn't that bad to be honest. Try fucking Opiate Withdrawls, Cigs is a walk in the park compared to a bad WD.. Worst fucking week of my life.
