'Cuse is good but playing in the Big East is going to bang them up during the regular season. The Big East is by far the best conference in basketball and Cuse will have to play hard every night to keep a good record

I think ASU has a decent chance at a Pac-10 championship this year with the main competition being UCLA followed by USC.

ASU beat Stanford 90-60 last night and we play Cal tomorrow night

This ASU game has been great as well. ASU got down by as much as 13 early but managed to hit a 3 pointer right at the half in order to tie it up 37-37. If we can win tonight we better move up in the rankings next week

I knew Georgetown would fuck them up at home. I laid 20$ on that game, so far so good

God fucking damnit.
Drinking made this loss worse and better at the same time.
Booze aside though, I really though we could pull this game out but instead it just reminded me of typical SU basketball. No matter how good your team SEEMS, they won't win the big games. Somehow we managed to overcome that in '03, but I don't think we have a shot of making it past the Elite 8. And the way we played tonight I don't think we have a way of making it TO the Elite 8.

Cmon now. Its Big East Basketball. getting wins away from home against quality opponents is tough.

but, yeah, it certainly wasnt much of a showing by the Orangemen.

Yeah but getting wins away from home is what separates you from the other good (or even average) teams.
G'Town, Syracuse, UConn, and Pitt will almost always win at home. However in the past years UConn has obviously been the best team.

Winning at home won't prove anything in this kind of league. Same goes for the ACC. Wake beating UNC at home, in the long run, probably won't be that big a deal in the big picture.

You are wrong about Wake Forest my friend. They are still unbeaten and they play great team basketball

As for the Big East. Its just a great great conference. Perhaps the best there has ever been. Yeah I went there. 8-9 top 25 teams all from the same conference and a gang of other teams who can win any given night. Big East basketball is where its at

I'm not trying to take any credit away from Wake. If anything I'm saying that they're really fucking good, possibly better than UNC (definitely at this point in time.)
If they really are as good as they seem then they'll go TO UNC or Duke and win, not just beat them at home.

FUCK yeah. What a huge win for ASU. We held UCLA to 1 FG in the last 8 minutes of regulation and the overtime period to win the game by 3 points @ UCLA. Monster win!!!

It's all good. Cuse is in for a wake up call also
They have only beaten 1 top 25 team and that is Notre Dame today at home
Georgetown trashed them a couple days ago :awesome:

ASU has a good shot at finishing in the top 15
