how many papaver somniferum plants do I need

I am posting this anonymous because I don't want people, yes even on the internet, to know that I am growing. I trust the admins though.

I am going to be going 12 papaver smoniferum plants at a time, with a hydroponic setup. Would 12 plants yield enough for a daily habit, of only using once a day? I am planning on scoring the pods and "cooking" the raw opium down a little. I am planning on doing 2 grow cycles a year. I am just wondering if this would be enough for smoking opium once a day everyday. I will use pod tea in the morning because the effects last a while. The prepared opium will just be an evening thing to get super opiated.

Don't know how many, but 12 is NOT going to cut it.

Best get yourself a farm and grow a shitload of them in a hidden part.

Grow some pot instead and make a deal with a good heroin connect that you'll trade him pot for heroin.

yes, but I guess I am misinformed, I thought each plant would create like 4-5 poppy pods that I could score :shrug:

im pretty sure most people use alot more than 4-5 pods per dose. Im not sure how even 120 would last more than even a few days/weeks with a regular habit. Not even to take into consideration tolerance

well, I wasn't going to harvest the pods to dry and make tea with, I can just buy those. I was going to score the pods, and get opium latex from them. I thought I could get at least a dose from each pod getting latex from them.

Have you read the Poppies thread in the ethno garden? The average poppyhead delivers 30mg opium containing 3mg morphine.

so, 12 plants x 5 heads x 0.03gr opium = 1.8gr opium maximum

In Iraq opium eaters were given 2 grams a day, smokers 5 grams a day.

...your entire harvest at best would last someone with an opium habit 1 day, but only if he eats the opium.
