Am I a scum bag for talking to my sisters ex???

I know this a weird question but as a girl I have a myspace and I check up on it for the same reasons I check up on the shroomery.... Pure unadulterated noisiness! I admit it I'm like an addict.

Anyway I had a friend request today from my sisters ex-husband. You see he and my sister were high school sweethearts and got engaged right out of high school and then he went into the army... They were married for a few years and then he was shipped overseas where he cheated on my sister with a hooker and ended up killing her (the hooker) in a drunken stupor, needless to say my sister immediately filed for divorce and Bam 5 years to the day he asked her to marry him they were divorced and he was in jail overseas! I was like 13 when this all went down and never fully understood what went down until years later.

Either ways I added him because I was curious to see what he had become after 9 years without my sister... My sister I know would kill me for adding him but I know at the same time she would be curious too... Had all this not happened they would be the happiest couple right now (most likely) and I know with the way her current fiance treats her (and others since "HIM") she misses the way he cared about her and doted on her.

I kind of feel like a scum bag but Id like to talk to him. He was never really a bad guy except when he drank... I don't know am I a retard?

Yeah I know Im worrying too much about this but I know my sister and I know that if she even found out she wouldn't talk to me for a long time. I mean no its not like Im trying to hook up with the guy (Im totally happy with the man Im with right now) but she would see it as some deep betrayal...

I don't think it's in any way reasonable to bar conversation with this ex of hers for all time.

You added him on your MySpace. You're not planning on drinks and dinner with the guy. (Are you?) That is not deserving of a 'scumbag' title.

That being said, I'd stay the hell away from that guy. Joining the army is evidence enough of an unusually low level of intelligence, but killing a hooker in a drunken stupor? Wow.

You can't even spell properly. Honestly, we've had the difference between "your" and "you're" beaten into our minds since the age of six or seven.
