Black Culture and the phrase "know what im saying"

I'm not a racist person, and to avoid being called so i decided to do this in the Anonymous forum. 

So i noticed that many black people say "knaw-um-sayin?" and i have to ask why?  Why does one need a disclaimer at the end of every sentence, YES I GET WHAT YOUR SAYING!

they're just trying to make sure they aren't talking to a wall. you gotta figure most of them, when talking to white people, aren't sure if they're on the same level as you, and they want to test you to make sure you're not sitting there thinking, "why is this nigger talking to me?"
