It is a really good show, that actually brings up valid points about life opposed to stupid points about friendship with others that seem to be contradicted every other episode by other shows.

Dexter is one of the few shows I will watch that has a fictional storyline, the rest of what I watch is science channel and discovery.

I love the crazy narrative and how normal and logical he makes it all.  I don't agree with the murders, but his condition is fascinating.


It's a strangely addictive show.  Dexter is a good guy for the most part, but Miguel is a skeevy bastard.

Dexter is a good guy because you want him to be. The dude has murdered probably over 50 people by now, and that's conservative.

I'll agree that it's strangely addictive. It brings out thoughts that we all hide deep down and the show suddenly brings them to light.

My problem is that I start to identify too much with Dex and then I put the pipe down and realize that I'm not a fictional serial killer.

I've followed the show from the beginning. It's the best thing I've seen on TV, hands down.

All through that he still kept Miguel at an emotional distance...

I'm not even going to try to predict what will happen in the next few episodes. I'll just wait for the awesomeness to unfold all over my eyeballs.

True, he let him in closer than anyone, but he is dealing with feelings of betrayal.  I could easily see him start breaking character.

I don't think he's as emotionally void as he narrates himself to be.

Great show.  I've been keeping up with it.  This season has been a little slow moving compared to the last two but this most recent episode makes me really want to see what happens next.  Dexter is one of the best fictional tv shows on these days IMO.

I love the show but Jennifer Carpenter (Dex's sister) is starting to ruin it for me, I can't fucking stand her.  I was really hoping her character would get skinned, but that's just wishful thinking I guess.

I agree. She needs to go away in the most horrific way possible.

Not a very good actress.

i thought so too in season 1 but i think she's gotten better and i've started to like her
