Usually banks hold cheques for a certain period of time so you can't just cash out instantly like that. I'm surprised your bank doesn't.

I see what you're trying to do man, and it's noble. If you had a fancy degree and some hookups, it's thinking and actions like  like this that could have you running a bank instead of just sticking it to them.

Weird that the pirates in the banking system and wall street get away with this crap but we get hammered. What if it was an honest mistake??
