Just got kicked off a Christian Message Board

Mods, move this if I'm out of line.

Okay, I know that most of you are not Christian, or religious, and that's cool, but I've got to speak on this.

I  had a message erased and called to "discuss some things" with a board moderator that I had the nerve to disagree with. :eek:

He stated that "God MUST be at the center of a marriage for it to work" and I replied that both gallop and The George Barna group show that evangelicals divorce at a higher rate than "secular" society and that atheists divorce less and have more overall satisfaction with their marriages.

Well, that got them going. People smacking on me right and left, and this guy makes a post about how the "Christians who get divorced only got married to have sex, so they don't count" & that "atheists have no moral guiding, so their marriages don't count" & so "it's like comparing apples to oranges" and the numbers don't matter.

I posted back, but he deleted it and called me into his office :rolleyes:

Wow, haven't been kicked out of anything since high school. :grin:

In high school my friends and I would go into Christian chat rooms talking about necrophilia and eating dead people, shit like that lol. Or else we'd just argue against god's existence and get permanently IP banned as a result. :lol:

circular logic aka full of shite.  There's nothing to discuss with them because what you're trying to do is use reason/logic; of which they will have no part. I have allot of xtian family and they are very intelligent.  Although, they tend to turn their brains off when the subject of Christianity comes up.  They're brainwashed.  no offense to anyone I hope but this is my opinion.

Non-God centered marriages are simply an abomination to mankind. They're immoral. And I believe this because the Bible says it, and the Bible is the best source of morals. And I know that the Bible is true and accurate because the Bible says so itself.

some people govern there lives with rationality and logic, others govern their lives from a ficticious book. The only thing i respect about christians is the ethics they teach. But they are swimmin in some stnky bs.

I usually am open minded and tolerant of christians, but shit look at history and our gilded politics, there is teensy bit of christianity permeating through.

The whole blood of jesus things makes wine and liquor societally acceptable yet is the number one reason for domestic abuse and car accidents. Cannabis is embedded throughout eastern religeons, especially Hinduism but apparently they are da devo! :tongue:

open minded Real Christian's are very nice people and i like to have conversations with them,

but they are a rare breed, you never see them on TV, you just see the media hyped dick head "Christians" because as with everything else the media only shows the most extreme people of any given part of society,

the Muslims that blow up buildings and scream death to America,

the Christians that think all gays will go to hell and there royal asses will go straight to heaven,

and the guy who had smoked marijuana in the past week, kills his entire family tree, then rapes three one year olds, so the weed must of been the cause of it

so when dumb people watch it they think everyone who smokes weed or believes in god must be a bad person

I can't wait until I get married. I am waiting until I meet a nice white Christian girl. I love God more than the average person. I think those who are against the teachings of Jesus Christ are those who can't look at themselves in the mirror and admit they are a bad person, so they try to persuade everyone that Christianity is some kind of big scam.

Anywho, I'm happy with whom I am.  I'm not perfect, nor do I have the desire to be perfect.  The place that I'm at right now and have been most of my life is as close to perfect as it gets =)

And I didn't need my buddy JC or any other religious deities to get here.
