IMO the new Bailout bill should start with this sentence, Credit Is Not a Civil Right.

Bush just gave a pretty generic speech on the bailout. He didn't really say anything new :shrug:

Frankly, he seemed pretty far behind on the subject by not injecting anything new into it. Seemed more like a lecture on the basics to anyone who's been hiding in a closet since the 7th

He basically said, if we don't bail out these businesses then get ready for "The Great Depression II", so congress better give us the money!
