Why do so many people put users on ignore?  It's not as if it takes THAT much effort to scroll past a stupid post, and besides it's more fun reading stupid comments than it is reading smart ones.

I've been very tempted to ignore fireworks_god and MushroomTrip, but sometimes I need a good laugh and they rarely dissapoint so I haven't.

The reason I put OC on ignore is because his viewpoints are static... they never change. I agree with him on most issues, but there is no point in reading what he says because he always says the same basic thing.

OC makes enough bad puns to make his posts worth listening to.

MushroomTrip seems to genuinely care about people but sometimes her rhetoric falls more into sophism than actual argument about ideas.

Fireworks_God seems like a pretty reasonable guy, but his style mirrors MT enough so that I can see why people don't like his posts.
