I'm a big fan of fall but I fucking hate winter. The thing I hate the most about it is the cold (obviously) but I also hate how it's cloudy all the time.

I have my windows open tonight and it's probably in the upper 50s right now. That's not cold, but it's chilly. And it only means that ferociously cold weather is only a month away. Fuck. I fucking hate the cold and the winter.

I dunno how much snow you get at the godly enema receptacle of earth(  :goatse:  :earth: ), but here in QC we get shitloads, clogging up our streets and whatnot. Add that up to the cold and you're in for 5-6 months of shitty weather...:mad2:

There are times I like the winter, I like being cozy in my warm house and watching the snow fall, but most of the time winter just gets in the way.

Snow piled everywhere, and if there's not ice all over then it's messy brown slush.

Not to mention shoveling. 

But still, the cold is a relief from the insane heat, and I LOVE fall.  Everything is changing colors, it's cool but not too cold yet, and the food...  my god, fresh local produce.  Go buy tomatoes, people.  Fall is a really pagan-feeling time of year, totally awesome.

Hahaha, the "godly enema receptacle of earth" would be North Jersey. We only get snow that sticks maybe 10 times in a winter, at most. And it melts every time. I enjoy having snow on the ground, but when it starts turning to slush it sucks balls for about 3 or 4 days.

Bleh. I was cool with the 1-2 snow/ice storms in Georgia winters.

I used to live in Switzerland, that was fine because snow was on the ground the whole winter(didn't have to deal with a bunch of melts) and it was sunny there. It's cloudy, raining, sleeting, or snowing in Jersey about 80% of the winter. Lame :thumbdown:

What the hell are you complaining about bro? I can't wait for witner! You can only take so much off in the summer. In the winter you can bundle up and get that perfect comfort zone. Plus cold weather makes for some good sleeping. :awesome:

Agreed, Ive always thought it felt very pagan myself. Im actually going to a Pagan Pride Festival next Saturday. Im pretty psyched about it. Id hoped my mushrooms would be ready in time, but it doesnt look like it. It should still be a blast.

yeah man its gettin cold here on long island too. got up for work this morning and looked at the weather briefly. theres a high of 67... and it hasn't even hit 60 yet... ITS SO COLD (only cuz im used to warm weather)

Everyone lets "bad" weather get them down, I say don't worry about it, and just try to not get caught in the rain without a jacket. I've never let a little cold ruin my fun, and I sure as hell won't this year.

It's the weather, it's not like getting upset over it or letting it ruin your day is gonna change anything, all that'll do is make you have a shitty time.:shrug:
