Very bad news!?!?!?!?!?!

I am a member of another Shroomery type forum, and I just received an email to my actual email account saying "your username is [*******] and you haven't logged into your account lately, can I have your login info so I can use the account since the forum doesn't accept registrations anymore?"

Uhhhhh, how did they get my email that was not associated with that or any forum, I only use that email for friends and family, and how do they that forum account was me?

I am paranoid as a MF'er right now, WTF:crazy:

The hushmail email account that I used to sign up for the other forum was locked after 3 weeks of inactivity, I can not sign into it. How did they get my internet email address?

I just checked out the email headers, and the IP is from London, England and the name that accompanies the email address I just googled, the guy (if it is him) has a business link page.

He has experience in:

  • IT Consultant
  • Programmer/Analyst
  • Software developer for the telecommunications industry
  • IT security consultant
  • Grid computing/HPC
  • Software developer MIT
  • Reverse engineering (research industry)



Looking at that and the other points on his page I'm going to say hacker, for sure.

^^^well it sounds like the dude is legit and just wants to take over an account so he hack some shit and found one no bodies used in a while and took a shot.  I would send him an email and tell him theat since, "you no longer do anything with mushrooms that you wouldn't mind if he used it at all."  Play it like your not into anything any more and see what happens.  Unless your british you prolly have nothing to wrry about.

I just checked my real email and I have 4 spam mails from Asian internet pharmacies that sell opiate and benzos without a prescription, delivery guaranteed. And a spam from the chemical closet, "for all your chemical needs, stealth delivery into the US guaranteed"
