I've been wondering about seed banks myself, I'm paranoid about ordering off the internet though...

i can't vouch for safety as i've never actually grown anything. 

i've ordered stuff online several times and it always got here fine.  i always wondered if someone was watching my computer though...

think about mailing the seeds to a location unattached to where you are growing, and good luck

I don't understand what people are so freaked out about.

If you've never ordered anything illegal from overseas, all that happens is you get a letter from customs saying "A package containing ________ and addressed to you was seized.  If you'd like to claim it, please call 1-800-Arrest-Me"

As long as you don't do something incredibly stupid, like calling to claim your lb of fine herb from The Dam, nothing at all is going to happen.

You can't get arrested for getting something illegal in the mail.  If you could, it would be a simple matter of sending some dope to an enemy of yours and then calling the police and saying he was fixing to receive something illegal to get them arrested.

it is not illegal to posses or have seeds or spores sent to you unless local laws prohibit
