Asking friends for the hook up - awkward?

I find it really really awkward to ask my friends for the hook up with drugs.  I get paranoid that they'll think I'm using them or something, but actually...I just want my own stash, is all.  :shrug:

I think it's only awkward if that's the first thing that comes out of your mouth when you talk to them, or if you haven't talked to them in forever and come out of no where. Friend first, drugs second.

Guess I'm just being paranoid about it.  (I don't ask friends for drugs often)

Haha.. I did this to a kid I know today. I thought, fuck it. He doesn't think I'm his friend. We haven't communicated in like a year... so it couldn't hurt to ask.

Needless to say, I haven't heard back from him.

How else are you going to find drugs if not through your friends? I guess you can always ask strangers but that's pretty unreliable.

Well, it's awkward because I've never really had to ask anyone for drugs before. 

I usually just cultivate my own.

Actually since I basically make my living off drugs I prefer it if my "friends" just cut to the chase and tell me how much of what they need and how much they are willing to pay etc...  In other words get over yourself and ask for what you need and it shall be provided to you for a nominal fee of course.
