What do you think of Ben Harper

He's one of those performers you just have to see live to appreciate fully.

saw him at Berkeley Greek last year with special guest carlos santana, me and six best buds from childhood parked right on the first step above the floor,  joints circulating, one of those experiences that make life worth it. 

And the first time I saw him, he toured with Jack Johnson in like 02 or 03.  I was expecting a fratty scene and boring music but he just blew me away.  See him if you've got a chance.  He's gonna be at outside lands.  I'd see him and Tom Petty over Radiohead and Beck any day.

I am loving the show I linked to above, feeling relaxed and refreshed after a low-mood day.  Harper may not be the best slide guitar who ever lived but show me another current performer who can play slide and sing so beautifully at the same time.  Feelin allright :heart:
