so i got a posession charge...

i got searched going into a sts9 show and dude man found a chillum and a nug the size of my pinky nail, seriously enough for like 2 good hits

within seconds i was in handcuffs and was sent away with a ticket stating posession of marijuana as the charge.

i have court on the 27th and im not sure whas going to happen, e.g. am i going to have to take a piss test that day or any of the few days afterwards?

if not, then ive been told that ill have to do some probation time in which case i may have to take tests for  6 months(or so i've been told).

does that start right after the court date or what? im sure it varys but whats someones experience?


i really just want to smoke and im wondering if it safe this close to my courtdate... 10 days away.

so far ive been clean for 3 days and im wondering if i should continue or worry about it when i find out what the deal is in court.

this was in virginia btw

sounds like a local ordinance, if its ur first offense it should be a fine and maybe supervision

i doubt u will be piss tested

Do not smoke! Just wait and do your probation or whatever.The weed will be there when your ordeal is over.I am not familiar with Virginia law,but they may be able to charge with something in your system.Don't smoke!

Get a lawyer and have it dropped down to a traffic violation. No record and you wont have to do no piss tests.

Damn, never actually heard of someone getting arrested at a concert. Usually they just toss it away or kick you out. That's fucked that the cops were just waiting there for someone to get busted.

I wouldn't go to that venue again. And that sucks you misssed the STS9 show. lamesaauce indeed.

Ops have  to meet a certaon amount of arrests, so motherfuckers pick on potheads.  My friend was at work, outaide waiting for a delivery when he got pulled out of his car, then they proceed  to search the car. A roach was found and my friend got arrested. He wasnt smoking or high.  My friends swears the roach wasnt his.

The judge dropped the charges, so he is suposed not get i trouble for a year more, he had an incidint with the law before, and was 2 weeks away from finishing his probation. He doesnt get drug tested or anything.

The same fuckheads arrested a couple of my boys the same day. One wssacussed of selling weed, he didt have anything on him so the pig pick some grass and put it in his pockets, what a fucking asshole that piece of shit PIG coksucker motherfucker. Then my other friend was driving  from a friends house and in red light he got searched and they found a roach.

All these  searches have been illegal, but pigs claims probable cause.  Those pigs are not from the precint around my house, they are probably narcotcs. Cops around my way take ur pot away and will write  a summon.

I bet one day they will try to search someone armed, that doesnt want to be searched, then hell will break loose.

i keep hearing about shit like this happening at the venues sts9 plays at.  I think the show coming up in Milwaukee is being boycotted by some of the sts9 fans because of these kind of things.

if its your first offense at the most you'll get a little probation, and regardless if they piss you or not you can always fail your first one and has long as your nanograms stay goin down after that first test your fine. i caught a possession charge the other week they found 2 vials of coke in my ciggarette pack. then took me to central booking.but you should be fine, weed aint shit,the maximum fine for marijuana possession is one year which probally never happens anyway. but ya just have a public deffender/or a lawyer if u want there with you.make sure one of them are there tho..

I got a possession charge in CA for 1/4 oz.  It was a misdemeanor, I plead no contest and just paid a fine of about $400 which included the court fees and the "lab fees", etc.  I could have taken the diversion program and gone to a rehab class for a year and would have been subject to drug testing, but I just took the misdemeanor and paid the fines.  No probation, no drug testing.
