I went to buy a quarter-oz. of sour diesel...

and right around the corner from my guy's apt, there was all this shit laying on the ground. People are always putting various knick-knacks out on the street in my neighborhood - I can't tell you how many books I've picked up off the street around here.

Anyway...I saw a briefcase-looking thing sitting on the street:



Then I opened it up to discover it was....a fully intact, no-missing-pieces Backgammon set! SCORE!



Now it's time to smoke some o that diesel and teach my roommate how to play. :grin:

Nice find.  Backgammon is the one game that my wife can kick my ass at on a regular basis.  I pwn her on all others, but shes an ace at backgammon.

That reminds me of the random suitcase I found on the street with a perfectly good accordian. What type of person throws away such relics?!?!

My roommate gave me a guitar that his friend found in a dumpster in NY. It needs a bit of work but its a pretty top of the line orange samick(as far as samicks go lol) Its got a floyd and the body and paint is in great condition. Only real problem is the action and intonation. I cant wait to get it working order.

I think the original owners girl must have been REALLY pissed or something for that to have ended up in a dumpster.:lol:
