Irvin vs Silva tonight

Am I the only one who would like to see Silva get knocked out?  Yeah I know that Silva is probably the more technical fighter, and obviously favored to win, but an upset is always possible.  Can Silva really be un-beatable?  I think not.

On another note I am looking forward to the Andy/Vera and Franca/Edgar fights to.  Anthony Johnson should be on the main card but isn't.  Probably won't be that good anyway.  Johnson will likely win by knockout or ref stoppage due to strikes in the 1st round.

Your thoughts?

I think, like almost every televised MMA event, 95% of the fights will be terrible.

Guess you haven't watched the Forrest Griffin vs Stephan Bonnar fight.  Nobody expected that to turn out the way it did.  I will still watch these "televised" fights in the off chance that one turns out like that.  They're free and I have nothing better to do anyway.  Are you even an MMA fan?

I try not to call myself one.

I stay willfully ignorant of most issues regarding the sport, but I watch almost all of the PPVs, hence my comment that most of the fights will likely suck.

I agree they suck, if you spend the $40 or so to watch them.
