Wake and bake

Well I lit a joint in the morning and wondered "Is this a popular act among stoners?" So I say to myself, "Only the shroomery pub could answer that."

In short, do many of you like a joint for breakfast?

not all the time... but lately I realized when I smoke a small bowl in the morning, I get more motivated to go out and exercise. So what do people consider wake and bake? I don't smoke as soon as I get up , I give myself 10-20 minutes to get my bearings straight. If I smoke as soon as wake up, my head will be cloudy a good part of the day.

Yea the 10 minutes is a good rule to go by. I consider wake and bake almost any smoking. From a tiny bowl to well, anything.

What about a time span? I think anything in the first 20-30 minutes or so would be a wake and bake... An hour probably wouldnt be considered wake and bake anymore

I'll usually wait 20-30 minutes before toking, too. Don't know why, I just like to get my cup of coffee first :smirk:

I miss waking up in the morning, I work 3rd shift so wake and bake isn't as good for me unless I actually have a night off which almost never happens. Too bad I can't work 1st shift anymore.

10-45 minutes after you wake I think. I don't know about you but I'm not really awake for the first hour or so.

Well I usually have to take a shit when I get up in the morning, so I grab my book and my little pipe and have a nice half-hour on the pot, it really makes the whole day run a little smother. So yeah, there's like 5-15 minutes I wait until I take that first hit. Also, the window in my current room in facing East, so I sit and watch the light enter my room and blow smoke into it. Yes, my bathroom is in my room, makes like so heavenly.

the day always runs much smoother for me when i smoke 10-15 mins after i wake up. or in this case, ive been up all night, so im gonna pretend i just woke up and smoke anyways

Yeah. When I have days off I'll wake up a bit earlier and plug my vape up in the bathroom. Then when I get up I read the news via my phone and enjoy some bud on the shitter.

I used to wake and bake every day for a year or two. But over time it just got old and I got more into the routine than actually enjoying smoking. Recently I have eliminated the habit of smoking only to smoke once in a day every 2-3 or when I feel like it. So it used to be a far too common practice for me and now I am really enjoying the moderation...Not to mention how much higher I get.

i have to give it at least 10-30min before i light a bowl, but it has to be before i shower, b/c it feels so good to shower high.

i would say about 50% of stoners wake and bake, still not sure i consider myself a stoner, though.
