Anyone else concerned for their safety?

What is it with ppl nowdays?

I dont feel safe walking on the streets anymore.

Even in my favourite spots i've recently seen gang activity: seen two standing by the payphone in my favourite area and they just looked at me and i knew these were serious fuckers, they told me to fuck off or they would fuck me up.

Next cash register robbers, my friend seen em few times this year. Next skin heads, meth heads, all over my town.

I dont feel safe AT ALL.

Now where i live guns are illegal and i think thats a VERY good thing in general. However i think they really should give out license to carry weapons to responsible individuals like me becuase you never know what kind of shit might fall down on your head :crankey:

And then my dealer, went to see him last week. All of a sudden he told me he knows where my step father works :|

I didnt say anything but i figured he can find out where he lives and then find my home too. My dealers DODGY :|

no, I live in West Georgia, a town with a population of about 800
when I moved here I was the victim of 5 break-ins and had 3 head
of livestock shot, needless to say I put a stop to that when the
police refused to do anything, now everyone gives warning to avoid
my place, especially the cops, they wont even come up my driveway
where there's a complaint all

a little. if you stay out of some areas at night, like i dont know how many of you have been to colorado and been to colfax but that is crack head/hooker city and riddled with people who pack. even though i live in the suburbs ive still been stabbed. concealed weapons permits cost a lot here and im not old enough for a pistol yet. but if i was i wouldnt fuck around. i would get a .45 colt.

Dude, gun prohibition increases gun violence.  Look at new hampshire vs dc. 
new hampshire: no permit required to conceal or open carry. 
gun violence: very low.
dc: total gun ban. 
gun violence: enormous.

your basically saying.. "only violent criminals should have guns" when you say its a very good thing that they are banned.  You don't think they can get them anyway? 

You didnt bring a knife fight, you brought a peice of paper sayin' no guns to a gun fight.

To be honest, i live in a pretty 'good' area as far as gun violence and gang activity goes, but i stay strapped anyway.  You should too

im for it if one is needed in a life or death situation

i was asking what would happen to someone if they didnt have a permit but got caught carrying one?

BUT guns are illegal and are hard and expensive to get if it wasnt so then EVERY ASSHOLE would go buy a gun dude! U dont want that.

Ohh yeah and the penalty for owning a gun here is 5 years minimum

Thats actually a very interesting question. I cant help but wonder if " criminal owning gun " rate would be same or higher if guns were legal

i'm in eastern canada (new brunswick) and crime is pretty much non existent.  no poverty at all either which is odd cause there are no jobs or money here.  alot of french influence in the culture i've noticed.  they are hard working and take pride in their homes and possessions.

actually I do want that, seems most cops want the citizens armed
as well, all those people that are trying to remove guns from
law abiding citizens have used the expression "if guns are
outlawed then only outlaws will have guns", just think about
that double edged sword for a minutes, would you want to be
living im more fear because some chav got his hands on a gat
and has moved beyond happy slapping
