If you find mushrooms growing from a cow pie anywhere in the US does that automatically mean they are safe, psychedelic shrooms?

Don't eat unidentified mushrooms... there is no real wiggle room with that life rule.

Also if you eat a poisonous mushroom their is no antidote to it. So once you eat it your fucked.

Depending on the timescale and the level of poison. You might survive if your stomach is pumped quick enough, but if you eat a batch of death caps and you don't see a Doctor until symptoms appear several days later, you're toast. Mushrooms would be a pretty shittacular way to die. :undecided:

I first came on this website and started using it to try to identify mushrooms. Once I got an idea of how many different mushrooms are out there and what is required to id and realized it still would be up to me to decide if it was the right one, having never seen one in the wild I gave up.

Started spending time in mush cult, bought spores for mushrooms that I knew wouldn't kill me and took out the guesswork.
