3+ Year relationship, having some doubts.
    #8361388 -

So I have been with my g/f for over three years. A year ago the family member I lived with passed away, and I was forced to move in with my g/f and her family because of financial issues. After living with her for a year I don't feel the same way about her, I dont think I love her.

In school girls flirt with me, and I would like to get to know some of them better, but I dont want to betray or cheat on my g/f. I want to move out asap, and try to break things off with her, but its going to be hard.

Is it messed up for me to move out suddenly and break up with her?

Not if that is how you feel.  You have to be honest with yourself first before you can be honest with her.

And if you're involved in a relationship with her, hopefully have the balls to be honest with her and break it off before you start fucking hot young things like my ex did to me.

Bitter?  Only some days.

It might be a bit unexpected, but it's a lot more messed up to stay with someone you don't love. It's a lot more unfair to her.

Yeah it's hard but you know you have to do it. I was in a similar situation, and I let it carry on because I was afraid, too. But believe me, once you're out, you're out, and you'll feel the most profound sense of relief you've ever felt... relief from a huge burden you didn't even know you were carrying.

Do what you have to do.

I was with my ex for four years. In fact, we had to break it off 3 days before our 4 year anniversary. It was hard for both of us. But sometimes people fall out of love. I was madly in love for many years. Then, I dunno what happened. He felt like a brother to me and we would constantly fight about the same things over and over. I realized that things weren't going to change and perhaps he wasn't "the one" like I thought he was.

Now I am with someone who understands and treats me better than I can ever imagine.

Quit messing with her heart, and do what needs to be done. Don't cheat, tell the truth.

This is the op.

If i want sex my g/f is always ready and shes not bad looking, I dont need to cheat on her like that. Sex is fine, its our interest in each other beyond sex that is lacking.

I just wanna be a bachelor while Im still young. After having a g/f for as long as I have, I dont want one again for a long time.
