The thing that pisses me off the most is when creationists claim evolution is a religion

a religion is simply a set of beliefs, practices, or attitudes, whether personal or organized.

i can laugh at the ideas of some of these guys too, because their findings are obviously flawed, and they do not represent true creation science.

if you would like a clearer picture of creation science, please see "The Case for a Creator" or creationscience.com.

my personal favorite is when they bust out the second law of thermodynamics as a counter argument to evolution. High comedy, that . . .

what is your basis for saying such?
i assume you have read neither of my above references.
science is science, regardless of where it leads, and if the findings support creation, it is termed "creation science", and if they support evolution, it is termed "fact". and do we question this, or do we teach it to our children as "just the way it is, because other men have PROVEN it"? (and they have not caused species to evolve and worlds to be created and universes to form).
I am not saying that you should accept faith blindly (which, actually, is the substance of faith).
I do encourage you to read both sides of the coin, and other sides of other coins, and see what evidences make sense.
and truly seek the truth, for all truth is truth, and there is no truth besides truth, so fear it not if you seek it.

Yea, somebody just did that in the now locked evolution thread.

Do you agree that evolution is NOT a religion? I can explain why if you disagree.

Therein lies the problem midgard, creation science isn't science at all. The science arena isn't about good detective work, justice for all or even proving a definitive point! Science is about advancing knowledge, specifically; knowledge contained in the natural realm. A remarkable explanation, with thousands of man hours, a surplus of blood, sweat and tears may be tainted with the most inconspicuous aberration!

Creation is a misguided malady, and always as a rule, it seems, affirms the consequent. It undermines the sanctity of practice, as it attempts to balance the equation. The equation, ever nestled inside the cruel bosom of faith, will never find itself balanced in the end. Infallible explanations of the unwavering super-natural will NEVER be a science.

If you want to have a debate on this thread, it's your move, for the burden of proof isn't on me.

I've skimmed some of the material on one of the links you provided before I wrote this post.

"We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Arabia. Certainly those unborn ghosts include greater poets than Keats, scientists greater than Newton. We know this because the set of possible people allowed by our DNA so massively exceeds the set of actual people. In the teeth of these stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, that are here." - Richard Dawkins

Dang where was I 2 days ago?

A good point however, I have some questions

If science is about the advancement of knowledge than scientists should be continually discovering new facts that farther prove the Theory of Evolution and disprove Creation(intelligent design).

I know very few, if any, facts that can support Evolution and/or disprove Creation especially from in recent decades. I've actually been seeing more of the opposite , I'm sure there are plenty of them though.

Here are some questions I have. I need to know what Evolutionist think.

What proof is there that the world is really billions of years old?

What is their explanation for how the first genes and proteins evolved?

You should read nature.com and science.com more often if you want all the new findings on evolution and anything else related to science.

How can science disprove creationism if it is based on supernatural ideas?

Radiometric dating.

So far there are a few hypotheses. None of them have become theories, yet. They do have some evidence but not enough to become theories.
