Lisbon treaty = EU Constituion
    #8304533 -

Taken from the Nation Builder:

The Treaty of Lisbon is the EU Constitution which was largely rejected by Europe so the globalists decided just to create a new treaty to pass all their changes.

Since 1951, the EU started operating as the High Authority. It has evolved over the decades and now with the Treaty of Lisbon the European Union has become the Super-EU, a new federal state whose members are provinces subservient to the will of the first major supranational government.

Every leader of each EU member state automatically ratified the Treaty of Lisbon except Ireland. Only Ireland can stand against the Open Conspiracy dream of the globalists and prevent the super-EU from going into effect with the Treaty of Lisbon.

This will accomplish the final step in Béla Balassa 6 steps to economic integration. The Treaty of Lisbon -- the EU2 -- will reverse the positive effects of the French Revolution.

I admit that I am not a scholar on the subject, but after reading your post, watching the video, consulting with someone more knowledgeable on the subject than I, and doing some quick research, I thought I'd reply.

This is bullshit. The EU Constitution was only rejected by two countries. At least five times as many countries ratified it, and the rest either have no referendum planned or it was suspended indefinitely, likely due to the fact that it requires unanimous ratification amongst the member states. The quotation beginning with a completely false statement and the word "globalists" is pretty ominous. :smirk:

Of course, the Lisbon Treaty essentially just consolidates past treaties and provides some alterations to how the EU functions, so I see no reason to refer to it as the "Super-EU". The idea of "subservience" is a little far-fetched, considering that such a government is representative of each member.

Elaborate on this please. :strokebeard:

Well Im not a expert on the subject either and I did a search on here and didn't find any threads about the subject, which seems controversial enough to deem some conversation. The original European constitution WAS rejected by the majority of Europeans even though their countries passed it through parliamentary ratification. The people of Holland and France where allowed a referendum and the people rejected it. Also I think the term "globalist" is the perfect term for the political class proponents of the European constitution, what else would you call them? certainly not nationalist. This time around they didnt even give the people the option of referendum, save Ireland whose own constitution requires one. Treaty of Lisbon is backed by the Council on Foreign Relations, same people who want a North American Union. The SOVEREIGN nation state was the product of the French Revolution, the Lisbon treaty is the death blow to national sovereignty in Europe. But like I said I'm no expert but I don't really trust anything backed by the CFR and if it was such a good thing for Europe why not allow a referendum instead of playing back room politics and substituting parliamentary ratification when they couldn't win the referendums. Would love to hear some European opinions on this, especially anyone from Ireland.
