Another pipe creation for you guys! (UPDATED)

Update: just wanted to add one more picture...

Hokay, just finished making this bad boy....thought i'd share it with all you shroomerites.

The smoke travels through the bottom glass tube first, then back through the other glass tube, it makes a really cool looking stream of smoke.

I forget what all the woods are right now, but there are 5 different kinds, all hardwood.

Nice, that inspires me to go out and play with my lathe.

I've got some really cool hardwoods, exotic and domestic, that would look really cool on something like that.

haha, naw not smokeless, the top is just a bowl cover. you push down the lever to open it up, underneath is a bowl. I like my wind covers!

hahah, well you can't really carve hardwood in the traditional sense, it will just chip rather than render a smooth cut.

You really need to just use sandpaper, dremel sanding drums, and do your rough cuts close to the shape that you want to end up with, thus spending less time sanding...

professional sandpaper is a must, it'll make all the difference.

Man, this type of artwork could make a guy wanna smoke herb again.

Maybe a stupid question, but could you make up something for a tobacco pipe? I have a friend who LOVES his tobacco, and I's love to hook him up.

I think the smoke goes from the bowl through both glass tubes and back up.

The mouthpiece is the skinny long part I think and the little tiny thing is the lever for the bowl cover.

It looks really tricky at first but it just looks fancy.

The Lever is the small black curve right over the bowl.

the long piece with the "squares" is the stem/mouthpiece.

the smoke goes in one set of tubes, curves thought eh wood piece and into the stem/mouthpiece.

hahaha.

That drawing is pretty much correct. the main dark wood of the bowl is actually three pieces glued together, it's the only way to get the internal air holes packed into that space. Using a drill would certainly end in failure. Some of the walls are less than a few millimeter's thick.

And no carb, i never use them anyways, not on wood pipes. I find it easier to control the intake of air with your lungs/bowl cover.

and for whoever requested it, here is my last pipe i posted...

since this pipes creation, the clear glass bulb has become covered with little dots of resin, and looks fairly brown. i think it looks really cool.
