Elaborate killing traps

Has anyone set up their place with traps that would kill anyone who tried to break in (thieves etc.)? I think I saw some in the movie Saw 2. The police were trying to get into Jigsaw's hideout but kept getting killed by hidden traps. I want me some of dem dare contraptions. I hate it when people don't knock and just break down my door instead. Any engineers out there?

i hear rat traps and shotgun shells are fun
good way to lose appendages i imagine

your best bet is to take the doors off of your house and get rid of all personal belongings

You mean booby traps? Most of the ones on the Home Alone movies look pretty deadly.

Or, you could place a doormat over a spiked pit (if you don't know where to buy spikes, you can put a rancor in the pit).

I decided to put a trap door just inside my front door so anyone who comes in when I am asleep will fall into the basement and hopefully break their neck. Luckily I posted about this in the anonymous forum so i won't get in trouble for it.
