hemp bird seed?

okay, I just found a five pound bag of whole "hemp" seeds for 11.70. I've seen bird food with the seeds for years, so heres the question would it increase the amount of thc if i managed to get females breed them, and then grow the resulting seeds?

Whats wrong with the idea a freind of mine bought the seeds for his parrot, found some of the pot seeds in the food and they did germinate.

hemp has no noticeable THC content.

The point was to cross it with a kali mist male until i had a stable strain with a high enough THC content to get a buzz.

you're friend believes it was hemp seed that germinated, under
federal law it has to be nonviable seed

Same question I was going to ask. US Federal law requires all imported hemp seed to be sterilized. (Actually, it is worse, the seeds must be steamed until they crack open, which makes them useless for pretty much anything... typical of US drug law.) However, in Canada, the seeds are alive and will germinate, as Canada's laws, up until recently, have been a bit more sane. Not certain what the laws are in other countries.

That's what I'm thinking. i was at one point in time looking for fertile hemp seeds to use for breeding purposes for medical Cannabis. Some hemp has a very high CBD content, more than any medical strain I knew of at the time. I asked around on the medical forum on Overgrow if anybody had done a marijuana/hemp hybrid, but nobody seemed to think it was an interesting idea.

The highest CBD:THC ratio i found in any tested medical strain was something like 1:15 when research was showing 1:1 was most effective for neuromuscular disorders.

Something like that. It's been years since I did the research, and I can't remember the details. My conclusion from people's attitudes there was that they all just wanted to get high legally, and weren't really interested in cannabis as medicine if it didn't get you really really stoned.

I know they were made in europe i have no idea how he got them. the site I looked at showed whole hemp seeds uncracked.

If you had access to viable kali mist genetics, why would you water it down with dirt weed? If you need to cross it off for stock find some seeded midgrade if you can't do better.

some are irradiated, all hemp seeds have to be sterilized before they can be imported
