I have 2 computers i regularly browse from.

My main desktop wich is in the basement so the wife and kids dont bother me, but i also have a laptop i keep in the living room.

My problem is: when im logged into the forum from one computer, i cant login with the other without physically going to the computer im not using and loging out. Its a pain and i avoid posting alot of times because im just too lazy to travel up a flight of steps. Is there something i can do to fix this, or an admin can do?

Yeah this shouldn't be an issue, it might cause your session to expire on the computer you aren't using but it wouldn't prevent you from logging in... what happens when you try? Does it give you an error? Time out? Seem to work but you're still not logged in?

i've remained logged in at home, then gone to campus and gotten on from their computers, and all it does is log me out on the computer at home

it shows my home screen when i try to login, it shows an inaccurate pm count and says r311ik, but says that im not logged in, it wont show me the login screen till i atleast close it on the other computer.

ill take a screenshot in a lil bit, im off to change my ball joints.

have fun with those ball joints, they always give me troubble

try clearing your cache and deleting your cookies, usually fixes most problems.

I had the same issue w just regular logins, and clearing my shroomery cookie saved the day.

As the symnptoms, not supposed cause, match my issue, why not try it?

cache clearing is always the first thing i do when i have login problems.

the balljoints took an hour, did all four.
i know, i wouldnt believe me either. lol

someone already changed them once so they popped right out, no matabo needed. :smile:

This sounds as if it is more of a cookie problem than a cache problem. Use the link above and then click the expire cookies button at the bottom of the resulting page.

They are very different things, having completely different uses. One (corrupt cookies) would cause the problems you described while the other (corrupt cache) would not.
