You live with any roommates or are you alone? What do you do on the weekends? Do you have any interest in sports or anything where you can mingle with people? Just a couple basic questions.

I have no local friends either. My one friend lives three hours away; I talk to him every 4-5 months but I never see him in person. And I also have trouble making friends... Where are you from and your age?

I haven't really kept in contact with any of my high school friends, and the guys at work don't really offer much in the way of interesting activities, they just drink a lot, watch sports, and laugh at stupid YouTube videos, etc. So I guess I have no friends at all, unless you count my younger brother (drug buddy :hippy:), little nephew (kids are hilarious to talk to - he's 3), and the chit-chat at work. I like being alone, but that's just me and my strange ways. I grew up reading a lot of books while other kids did whatever kids do.. throw rocks at cars/buses, etc.

Anyways, if you want to make friends, you could always take up a cool new hobby and join some sort of club or start your own! Or maybe you already have an interesting hobby that other people may be interested in sharing with you. I think that would be a good way to meet like-minded people (maybe you could start a mycology club )!

Good luck man :yesnod:

Well, it's pretty simple really. Just go out and do stuff! Don't confuse "simple" and "easy" though--if you're set in your ways it can be difficult to change.

If you just let yourself get into the habit of hanging out at home on your computer you're never going to get out there and make friends. Try getting into structured activities (like dance or language classes) and gradually start branching out into more specific interests.

P.S. Chicks dig guys who can dance. Trust me.

Yea. Learn how to dance. Or get into MMA.

Trust. You will be born anew if you get into something that can't be done solo.

The previous poster is right. Just change your habits, and stop using the computer so much, it will lead to internet addiction.

Don't be too passive and don't over analyze everything. That type of behaviour will lead you to be an observer of life. You only live once, realize this, and be a participant of life.
