Humans Sync?

I don't know how else to explain it. My buddy and I were shroomin out a couple weeks ago and we noticed something we hadn't before. I was almost like we were synced. Like we were completing each others thoughts and ideas. Of which we were having the same. It wasn't like we were effecting each other, it was like we were each other. I tested my theory on my girlfriend last week. We shroomed out (something she had never done) and I just listened to her talk. Id ask her questions that weren't leading, and I got the same results. It was almost like our thought patterns were the same.

When my buddy and I shroomed out, I noticed that when we said the word "things" we wiggled our fingers. I just thought it was funny at the time. I never mentioned it to my girlfriend and she did the same thing. She was expressing the same mannerisms that my friend and I were experiencing. Does anyone else get this kind of feeling?

Check out the book Sync
It starts out with a bunch of firefly in asia who spontaneously sync up with themselves to emit light at the same time, without a leader or maestro telling them what to do.


Maybe not quite the same as your are describing.  Emergent synchronization is a scientific phenomena, not a mystic one!  It applies in many areas of the universe, biological or not, and is an issue that needs to be addressed in any unified theory.

As far as your shroom experience goes, I have experienced the same thing during acid trips with close friends.  Something about being with a trusted person and letting your walls down invites a shared, connected feeling.

i completely believe that humans have the ability to do all sorts of psychic activity, and i think that psychadelics, especially natural ones increase this ability.

Im still up in the air as the whether it is a psychic/mystic thing or scientific. Im just glad to hear Im not the only one.

not much experience with tripping?

its pretty common.

there is also good reason to believe that syncing is not psychic but subconscious in nature.

subconcious mental connections are psychic in nature.

i would disagree, i would say they're pretty physically based.

it could be argued that in most people psychic mental connections are subconscious based though...

I think it is something that happens on a daily basis. We just are not aware of it because we are not tripping on a daily basis.
