The new del is weak
    #8105578 -

lyrically its ok but the beats are seriously lacking. It sounds like some early 90's shit.

If you're talking about The New Deal, I have two albums from them. Making torrents is easy with uTorrent, read the FAQ on what.cd it's pretty straightforward. If you want I'll send it to you.

The albums I have are, gone, gone, gone, and a self titled. The self-titled is the better of the two IMO.

Music thrived in the 70s, was diagnosed with a terminal illness in the 80s, went into remission in the 90s, but sadly died in early 2000.

Del is always on point lyrically. So that is not an issue

I like the beats as well from what I have heard. But I see he has added more to his myspace.

These beats are reminding me of No Need For Alarm which is my favorite solo album of his.

yeah, it's not completely right... but I still think the 70s and the 90s had the best main stream music.

now with the internet you can find anything you like.

Main stream music does not correlate with good music.

I could care less what is popular, whatever sounds good. With the internet you can get exposed to any and every type of music that is out there.

Ever heard of everything happening in cycles? Or Full Circle. *cough* Hiero *cough*

His lyrical scheme is completely different than back then. I think the beats are fitting.

you dont know what youre saying. And as far as going full circle that's for people who are about to retire. Del needs to step it up for the future.

Del's been to the future and back bro. Look at all of his work and how it's evolved. It's almost like Deltron 3030 was the furthest point into the 'future' and 8 years later he goes back to the basics. Crackpot theory? Probably.

Either way I think The 11th Hour is sort of getting back to the basics while still expanding on what he has learned. He has spent the past 8 years or whatever learning music theory so he could be as knowledgeable as jazz musicians for example.
