WTF is up with torrents

i got a torrent site, but limewire is the only way i can seem to download them, and it's incredibly slow, 3kb per second??? is there a better way?

it sounds like you don't know what you're doing.

how many seeders do you have? the more seeders the faster it will go.

Yeah, use a torrent program like utorrent. Dont use limewire.

Torrents are the shit. I use Bit Comet.

http://search.isohunt.com is the place to go. :thumbup:

I also like how you can download a cd, but only choose 3-4 songs that you want off the cd to actually download. extremely convenient

Yeah they have whole genre torrent and band discography torrents but you can go in and just snatch a couple of the ones that you want/like

So if you think you can't find a song or album anywhere it might be hiding in one of those huge torrents

BitComet creates memory leaks and slows down torrents for everybody. Please, do us (and yourself) a favor and download uTorrent.

I use Azureus Vuze.

Works great for me, my favorite torrent program for sure.

hey i use Utorrent aswell and have highspeed intenet but i still only get 45 or 5okb/sec !! What do i have set wrong , i have checked the settings and i cant find anything worth tweaking man...god 150kb must be nice...

But for the torrents, utorrent is the way to go.

After using bit torrents the past 2-3 years and loving them, I just switched to usenet and will never ever go back, well, unless I can't find it on usenet.

Usenet maxes out my connection. I've downloaded 37 gigs in the past four days

nobody on what.cd downloads albums. I've been on there for a good two months, and my ratio hasn't changed from hovering below one. I've downloaded probably 5 albums in that time.

Please, if you are on what.cd, download some stuff, for the love of whatever you people believe in these days.
