The Harry Potter movies....

To all my fellow Shroomites who enjoy the HP movies...which one is your favorite? Which one is your least favorite?

Did ya'll hear that they're thinking of splitting the 7th film into two movies. Bad idea....bad idea :nonono:

The first one was and will be my favorite. I was dissapointed w/ the last one, i dunno but I expected more.

really? I like the first one but it was a little too "cute" for me..being that the book was so much darker but for what it was I like it.

I don't like the 2nd one...that's my least fav. I'm not one of those fans that expect everything from the book to be in the films...that's what make them adaptations..but the 2nd movie was just wrong.

My fav is the 3rd one though, Prisoner of Azkaban FTW  :voila:

Order of the Phoenix was a fuckin awesome movie imo, especially the final fight between the OotP and the death eaters.

the third one was my favourite (Prisoner of Azkaban). the last two were horrible, especially the latest one, it was just BAD and i was very disappointed. i really hope they don't fuck up the last two like they have the previous two, that would piss me off.

Favorite movie would probably be the Prisoner of Azkaban. Favorite book a close tie between Half-Blood Prince & Deathly Hallows.

Well if she isn't going to be writing any more books in the series, they have to do something to keep the cash cow alive for as long as they can.

You didn't like Order? I thought it was pretty good...although it was slow in a few places.

no, i didn't. there were a lot of things in that movie that pissed me off, like the fact that Dementors have hoods, which was totally disregarded in this movie. also the fact that a lot of things were left out or completely changed around. it was like the director didn't even bother reading the book at all but instead got like the cliff notes for it but didn't even really pay attention to those either.

it was extremely hard for me to even sit through.

I guess so they can try to fit everything in :shrug:

I don't know why though...they cut the longest book down to the shortest movie so they can surely make the last one into a decent movie without splitting it

heh yeah I hear ya. That book has a lot of fluff in it though so I figured that alot of it would be cut down.

From the looks of it however it looks like they're keeping ALOT in for the next movie so no worries. They're even bringing Quidditch back.

the books really don't have that much fluff in them, after reading them all a second time there is a reason for a lot of the stuff which you only find out in later books. it might actually be better to cut movie 7 into two parts, that way they can make it more true to the books and not have to worry so much about time constraints.

The 7th book was awesome. Put it down maybe once, read it all the way through. I don't know what it is about Harry Potter books, its one of the few things I'll read.
