Why do police officers go out of their way to make traffic stops? Basically, I think its a waste of our tax my to have these cops stake out stop lights, use speed traps, or simply wait at a place where right on reds are illegal and bust people who do them anyways etc. Traffic stops should not be a priority. Officers should only pull people over for traffic stops if they just happen to see someone on their way to somewhere else or in places where speeding is actually dangerous (i.e. not the highways or interstates). Agreed?
