It's watercolor paper, guys. The people who put acid on blotter aren't on ebay shopping for prints! They buy watercolor paper and print it themselves, or they have friends that do it.

I can't remember chinacat's quote, something like "Perforations are made with a fabric perforater that can be bought at walmart for $1"

Go to wal-mart and look in the art section. Look closely at the watercolor papers. Looks familiar, huh?

A little off subject but but i've always wanted to find a good recipe for gells. I've looked around here and there when I think about it but all I can find is stuff ABOUT gel tabs, no luck on what it is made from.

i'm fairly certain that they are made from something that is ever popular on this site.. agar-agar...

but, i have no real proof of this.. just an educated guess due to the fact that i don't think that old hippies would have used gelatin.. and there's not a lot of things out there that give you that sort of firmness from a gel.

umm.. gel tabs have been around for quite a while..

when i say "old hippies," i don't mean like from the 60's or something.. more like the dead heads from the 80s-90s.

Like i said, though, i have no proof.. just a guess. agar-agar also has a more similar feel to a geltab to me than gelatin does. whenever i see those super flimsy gel tabs that are always at big festivals, and are always bunk.. i think, "gelatin"... like jello.. not stable in even low heat.
